Glenstone is an art museum located on nearly 300 acres of rolling hills and unspoiled woodland in Potomac, Maryland. Conceived on the core value that art is essential to life, the museum contains one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary art in the world. Since opening our newest buildings in 2018, Glenstone has become one of the largest private museums in America. We welcome 100,000 visitors every year and admission is always free of charge. Art, architecture, and landscape are seamlessly integrated into a serene and contemplative environment. Guided by the personal vision of its founders, Glenstone exhibits post-World War II artworks that trace the greatest historical shifts in the way we experience and understand art of the 20th and 21st centuries. These works are presented in a series of refined indoor and outdoor spaces designed to facilitate meaningful encounters for our visitors. To work at Glenstone is to be part of a collaborate team creating something truly special. We proudly foster a professional environment where associates can do interesting, fulfilling, and enjoyable work supported by core principles of honesty, integrity, excellence, continuous improvement, and inclusion. We embrace diverse perspectives and look at our actions through the lens of long term impact. Glenstone offers competitive compensation and benefits packages, formal performance feedback, continuous learning and professional development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs. To work at Glenstone is an opportunity to do a job to the highest standard, with the resources and support available from a founder-led and endowed organization. It is an invitation to be engaged, challenged, and stimulated, to help fulfill a powerful mission, and to contribute to a noble purpose.
