Our mission is to equip individuals with financial education, life skills and assets that enable them to live free from oppression and poverty. Our vision is to live in a society where every individual has the ability to fulfill their greatest human potential. Our programs empower youth and young adults the Bay Area to move toward economic self-sufficiency by instilling a deeper understanding of life and finances. We empower aspiring students and young mothers and connect them to the resources and opportunities of Silicon Valley. Able Works has two core: FutureProfits and LiveAble:Women. FutureProfits is a financial education, decision-making and life skills program that is specifically geared toward under-resourced high school-aged students, which to date has served over 6,000 students. LiveAble:Women applies a unique and proven approach to bringing self-sufficiency to female head of households, ages 18-30, through a one year cohort model. Able Works is a 501(c)(3) and our tax ID number is 20-2175098
