Triplane is a film production facility based in Salt River, Cape Town. It is owned and managed by two brothers; Ian and Colin Greyvensteyn. Facilities include edit rooms, full sound recording studio with a sound booth, casting/photography studio, conference area, production offices and full kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The facility functions as a hub negating the need to travel to multiple destinations.Triplane works closely with a number of editors who work on the major software packages, Avid, Premier Pro,FCPX, and After Effects. Services include online and offline editing, graphics and animation. The editing facility includes a client viewing area with large video screen as well as a true colour monitor.Triplane offers a full audio post production facility, running industry standard Pro Tools HD software with 1080p video playback in both the control room and sound proof and treated voice booth. The tiered control room has a client level with couches, a producer's desk and 32-channel Pro Tools desk. The spacious booth is sized to hold up to 4 voice artists comfortably. Nic Turton, who has headed up sound at Post Office Post, Treehouse Recording Studios and the Video Lounge, is up to date with all the latest film, TV and video deliverable standards. He has worked in the industry for 10 years and has a track record that has given him a broad base of knowledge and competence across several fields in sound. Nic's experience includes working on sound for feature films, commercials, long form programming and more. Triplane offers a casting service including: working with packages, briefing out, final delivery of product to disc, booklet and ftp site. Our state of the art setup allows us to capture information, footage and upload all in real time for clients that have tight schedules.
