Trinity Group Limited ("Trinity") is an alternative asset merchant banking group established in 1996. Trinity was founded by Edward Frazer and Ford Fraker, experienced investment bankers who worked together during the early 1990s.Sir Ian McGregor, who was successively Chairman of British Steel and British Coal, was Trinity's first Chairman until his death in 1998.Ford Fraker, Co-Founder of Trinity and its Chairman until March 2007, served as United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2009 under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack H. Obama. Ford maintained an active role in the firm until his death in September, 2017 Since its inception, Trinity has placed investment products aggregating in excess of US$8 billion. Trinity's well established client base is composed of institutional investors and family investment offices in the Middle East, Israel and Europe. Trinity is typically engaged on targeted capital raising assignments, working in partnership with a fund manager's in-house investor relations and fund raising teams, sometimes, in co-operation with other global placement agents.From time to time Trinity also supports private companies from various industry backgrounds with their capital raising efforts and works on other corporate finance related assignments. Additionally, Trinity is active in the sourcing and sales process for secondary portfolios of various alternative investments.
