Planned Parenthood of Hawaii was founded in 1966 by a dedicated group of doctors and nurses who saw a need on the islands for affordable and effective reproductive health care services. Their vision and goals have grown to encompass all that we are today, serving the people of Hawaii.Today, the agency offers a full range of quality reproductive health care services to the people of Hawaii through 4 health centers in Honolulu (Oahu), Kahului (Maui), Kailua-Kona (Hawai'i island), and Lihue (Kauai).Supported by volunteers, interns and community advocates and partners, partially funded by generous donations and staffed by dedicated and professional employees, Planned Parenthood of Hawaii continues its tradition of providing accessible, affordable reproductive health care, education and training and advocacy for reproductive rights.Our mission is to be the leading provider of reproductive health services, education, and advocacy for the people of Hawaii.
