The .za Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) is the statutory regulator and manager of the .ZA namespace. .za Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) issues licenses in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (2002) and regulates registries and registrars. ZADNA accounts to the South African Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services and to Parliament and ZADNA's constitution is in the form of a Memorandum and Articles of Association in terms of the Companies Act.ZADNA has a part-time, non-executive Board of Directors that the Minister of Communications appoints in terms of the ECT Act.
