Friends of Retrievers Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non profit organization. We are a small group of volunteers that freely give of our time to help save the lives of animals. We save dogs (and cats sometimes too) from high kill southern shelters and help them find their FORever homes both locally and in the New England area.F.O.R. Rescue requires an application to adopt our animals, vet reference, and a home visit or photos of the home and yard where the new pet will reside. The adoption donation covers all vaccines required by the USDA for transport across state lines, spay/neuter, a microchip, health certificate, and transport from TN, AL, or OH to VA, MD, PA, NY, NH, CT, and ME (if applicable). All donations are considered a charitable contribution on income tax returns.
