Jyotirmoy Education and Welfare Foundation was founded by Dr. Partha Sarathi Ganguli in the year 2003, who set out on a mission to educate the masses and in turn spread awareness among the youth of the society who would become leaders of tomorrow in numerous fields and make the nation a better place to live in. JEWF is the mother unit of many educational institutes located in the southern suburbs of Sonarpur, in a lush green pollution free 22-acre campus which strive towards providing students with education from Undergraduate (UG) to Post Graduate (PG) levels. JEWF takes care of a sapling and waters it so that it grows up to become a huge tree, providing food, air and shelter to many. Thus, the organization houses a CBSE affiliated Senior Secondary School, Jyotirmoy Public School, where wings are given to the children who dare to dream. It also houses colleges like Jyotirmoy School of Law which is affiliated to Calcutta University, Jyotirmoy School of Education, affiliated to WBUTEPA, Jyotirmoy Private ITI and Jyotirmoy School of Business where the students are taught how to fly. The Jyotirmoy Education and Welfare foundation is an emerging stalwart in the education department and has all the ingredients to make it a centre of excellence.
