IFP is one of the most successful Mega Food Park in the country. The Food park facilitates end-to-end food processing along the value chain from the farm to the market. Equipped with world-class food processing units, 30,000-tonne ambient storage capacity, cold storage and chiller rooms, the India Food Park is spread across 110 acre land in Tumkur region in Karnataka. The park is home for 25 food processing lines ranging from Rice, Flour Mills, Sauces, Chutneys, Spreads & Dips, Wafer Biscuits, Cookies, Extruded and pallet snacks, Chips, Nachos, Popcorn, specialty flour, fruit and vegetable pulping, IQF, RTE and RTC. The Food Parks supports major brands of Future Consumer Limited such Tasty treat, Golden harvest, Premium harvest, Desi Atta, Nilgiri's, Terra among others. IFP has also installed a green house in collaboration with the Dutch Government.The project is located off NH 48 and is 100 kms from Bangalore in a well established and progressive industrial area with excellent connectivity to road, rail, air port and sea port. IFP has developed state of the art food storage, food processing, logistics, distribution, quality testing and R&D facilities. Entire infrastructure is aptly supported by amenities such as power, treated water, sewage & effluent handling, fire-fighting and secured compound that make businesses "ready to go" from its inception. India Food Park has developed an eco-system for value addition to all agricultural produce, by associating with farmer groups.
