Minnesota Molecular is a small company with big ideas, first hand knowledge of lab work and the tools to do it right.In 1996, company founder Robin Keith took 27 years of lab experience and a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology and created Hi-Lo DNA Marker. The product is a wide range marker that comes ready to use and is stable for five years at room temperature. It has seven separate plasmids digested with EcoR1 and combined to produce a ladder of 14 bands of known size.Hi-Lo DNA Marker was developed in response to expensive ladders with uneven, hard to remember banding patterns containing wide gaps that often degraded after a month or so. The industry needed a stable, affordable solution and Minnesota Molecular has made delivering this product their number one priority.Originally tested by Robin's co-workers, the product is being used in hundreds of labs around the world.
