The Fibre Cement Products Manufactures' Association (FCPMA) is the only and the apex association of fibre cement product manufacturers in India. FCPMA members are largely engaged in the production of fibre cement sheets which are low cost roofing solutions for the rural masses and also the fibre cement pipes used in supply of drinking water and also in sewage.The main objectives of the FCPMA are to aid, stimulate and advise on the promotion of Fibre Cement industry and also to collect, disseminate and enlighten the members and all others connected with the trade and industry on the possible use of alternative fibres as suitable substitutes, without compromising on quality of the end product.FCPMA focuses on creating awareness amongst the stakeholders for better utilisation of resources, adoption of new technologies, eco friendly alternatives and also represent the interests of the Fibre Cement Products Manufacturers in other inter-connected areas.The fibre cement industry plays a vital role in helping India in accomplishing its goals, particularly given its strong contribution to the India's policy objectives relating to employment, innovation, and commitment to the environment.
