NAEWASA was initially established as a New Entrant Commission on 4th May 2017 by Department of Energy to support New Entrants, particularly Black Wholesalers in the Petroleum and Liquid Fuels Sector (Oil & Gas Energy). NAEWASA was duly constituted with the support of Oil and Gas Energy Industry Stakeholders and Founding Members.NAEWASA recommends for inclusive economic policies changes at relevant Government Departments, advocating for the support of New Entrants in order to achieve an inclusive economic society that will result in zero poverty but shared prosperity.NAEWASA is a Membership based Organisation with the following benefits: • Oil and Energy holistic capacity development and knowledge sharing of the entire industry value chain and opportunities. • We negotiate for Petroleum Products access at a fair market price for all New Entrants irrespective of volume.• NAEWASA lobbies on behalf Members and recommends for Policy changes to create a conducive business environment as well as access to Business events and markets opportunities and fair trade investments.• Offers preferential exclusive access to industry networking events including breakfasts sessions, company and sites visits, briefings and industry forums.• Subsidised access to NAEWASA Training Programmes and Courses.• Participation in and assistance with supplier capability development.• Opportunities to partner with NAEWASA on company skills development initiatives.• Opportunities to work with NAEWASA to initiate industry forums and Global Trade initiatives.• Opportunities to promote company within the local industry through "featured company" events and exposure on our website.• Preferential participation in NAEWASA organised Trade Missions and industry exhibitions.• Access to Financial instruments and Funding. • Access to NAEWASA resources for assistance in accessing Government support. • Involvement in defining industry priorities and accessing Enterprises Supplier Development.
