ChanRe Rheumatology & Immunology Center & Research is a unique one of its kind hospital in India dedicated for management of patients suffering from musculoskeletal disease (rheumatology) and other immunological disease.CRICR was established on 12th Dec 2002 by Dr.Chandrashekara.S, Rheumatologist. It started as a small out-patient clinic, and has now developed into a complete facility with a compressive laboratory. In 8th year we have successfully started an in-patient Facility at Basaveshwarnagar. This CRICR centre is a 20 bedded, 24hrs, 365 days hospital with facilities ranging from shared General wards to Special Suits to cater to patients with advanced disease or disease with emergencies. The physiotherapy and Rehabilitation team has been strengthened by Occupational Therapist, Orthotic and Prosthetic Consultants. A unique concept of Joint Restoration Clinic with a backup Major OT, in the event of any correction procedures needed has been started. This is overseen by both Rheumatologists as well the Respective experts in Orthopedics to Retain, Restore as well Rehabilitate the joints affected by Arthritis. Additional consultants in field of pain counseling, family counselors have been added to improve the overall care of these patients. We are Progressing towards setting up the state of the art standard in Rheumatology and care. Presently the group is lead by Dr Chandrashekara.S, supported by two more Directors Dr.Renuka.P and Dr.Dharmanand.B.G. The hospital is now managed by the company ChanRe Dharsha Health Care Pvt Limited.
