Young Rembrandts Drawing Program has been running successfully in USA & Canada for 31+ years. The question to consider while considering us is, how many people do we know who can draw? Or are comfortable expressing themselves visually? Drawing is one of the most important elements under the art umbrella and with the unique Young Rembrandts technique, EVERYONE CAN DRAW. The students are able to put whatever they see or imagine on the paper without any measuring instruments. In our sessions, the child perceives a drawing with the right side of the brain, that is broken down into easy recognizable shapes with the help of the left side of the brain and that's how entire brain is used to explore & express his / her creativity. The experience and outcome results in empowering the child. They claim proud ownership of their drawing. The experience is very fulfilling for them since there is no race, comparison, good / bad in the class. The program is also trans-disciplinary, as we add to the children's general knowledge & vocabulary, as well as assist in problem-solving, improvisation, critical & lateral thinking abilities. During our classes, we simply provide information, instructions and exposure to topics from around the world. Students have a free rein to add their own creativity and individuality. Our aim is to enable expression of imagination through drawing. The key concepts we look to enable are perspective, proportion, balance and placement.
