Recent annexation has provided exposure to the interchange of Interstate 85 and Highway 74. The City provides traditional police, fire, and public works services to 14,000 residents. Fairburn is a member of the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG) and the South Fultion County Water & Sewer Authority.
