RealBeautifulYOU was born out of sheer desire for what I saw as an absence in my own community. The combination of true expertise, as well as the longing for continued growth, in a range of topics within the health & wellness space is often overlooked for weekend certifications and untrained influencers. Oftentimes, pages & lives are flooded with bias and dos & don'ts, rather than real, forgiving, and tangible advise for living wholly & making peace with oneself & the body.Here at RealBeautifulYOU, LLC, everybody and every BODY is welcome to join in on loving movement, nutrition education, & never-ending learning about trusting our intuition, living mindfully, & taking a holistic approach to finding the real beautiful YOU.Founder & Owner Rachel is a RYT-200 & Master's Educated Nutritionist who completed her Dietetic Internship in December 2019. She holds a certification in Eating Disorders & Obesity from Northern Illinois University & continues to educate herself on important areas in the health world, such as Intuitive Eating & the HAES movement.Currently, Rachel is working to complete her thesis, which evaluates the correlation between childhood trauma & the development of eating disorders or disordered eating. Following thesis defense, she will sit for the RD Board Exam to become a Registered Dietitian. Rachel devotes her time outside of her job as a Clinical Dietitian in Rockford, IL to sitting on multiple executive organizational boards, leading local Jewish teens, tending to a community garden that she helped to create just this year, and her husband, two boys, & dog, Ruby.
