Well-Being Center is a different kind of therapy practice. We focus as much on your personal growth and happiness as we do on your mental health problems and issues. We offer coaching, therapy, support groups, self-care groups, and educational workshops to help you think well, feel well, laugh well, relate well to others, find meaning and purpose in your life, and accomplish your dreams. Based on mind-body integration theory, we utilize short-term coaching and longer-term psychotherapy in combination with mind-body techniques (movement and yoga, massage, meditation, and creative arts) to bring your mind and body into balance, as well as restore your energy, passion, and sense of connection within yourself and with others. Well-Being Center promotes a sense of community by facilitating psychotherapy and support groups as well as educational workshops that focus not only on the healing connection within, but with others in your life. We also offer unique self-care groups, such as Walk the Talk© and Thera-Zen© – a combination of exercise, talk, and self-care practices. We purposely limit the number of participants in our groups to foster a stronger sense of trust and build deeper connections with each other. Our office serves as a collaborative learning laboratory for experienced mental health professionals to share ideas and techniques and to learn from each other in order to grow in our work with our clients. We use evidence-informed treatments and outcome measures to document client growth and to demonstrate the value of the mind-body approach. Well-Being Center is committed to providing an alternative to the fee-for-service models that currently exist for independent mental health professionals. Well-Being Coach / Therapists are compensated well above industry standards, to ensure that they are focusing on quality when working with clients, not quantity.
