Blue Efficience was founded in 2008 by Thierry Chevillard as a start-up specialising in the integral protection against illegal streaming and downloading of films and series on the Internet.Our mission is to protect films and series on the Internet against their non-authorised exploitation. Some of our clients and their films protected by Blue Efficience (past & current):"Promised Land", "Spring breakers", and "Midnight in Paris" by Mars Films "Amour" by Les Films du Losange"Populaire" and "Oblivion" by Universal Pictures Video France "L'élève Ducobu", "Les vacances de Ducobu", "De rouille et d'os" by UGC Images and Les Films du 24"Quartet" and "Killer Joe" by Pyramide Films Blue Efficience has acquired the protection contracts for all Mars Films, 3 of which made it to the Cannes Film Festival this year: "La Vénus à la Fourrure", "Jeune et Jolie" (in Cannes's official competition), and "Blood Ties" (out of competition). Blue Efficience currently has contract with the HADOPI, the High Authority for Transmission of Creative Works and Copyright Protection on the Internet, created by the French Ministry of Culture, allowing the enforcement of the French "Creation and Internet" law.Blue Efficience also works for the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, or "Les César", (the national film award in France) since 2011.
