Founded in 1976, SCRAP is a national model of how to give second life to materials that otherwise would be thrown away. It is the only organization in San Francisco to collect and distribute reusable art & craft materials.Mission statementSCRAP's mission is to stimulate creativity and environmental awareness in children and adults through promoting the creative reuse of material that traditionally have been discarded as waste.
