MyGermanUniversity (MyGU) is an EdTech startup based in Hamburg, Germany. Since the launch in summer 2019 it has built up Germany's largest database of English-taught study programs with more than 2,200 Bachelor's and Master's. MyGU started as a spin-off at Freie Universität Berlin (supported by the EXIST business start-up grant) the company moved to Hamburg in early 2020 - having won InnoRampUp (IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH), one of Germany's most attractive public seed fundings.The two founders of MyGermanUniversity have previously worked for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as directors of the DAAD offices in Italy (Tobias Bargmann) and Peru (Stephan Paulini).
