The UV LegalTech Lab is a teaching and research unit dependent on the School of Law of the University of Valencia, dedicated to promoting the study and advancement of knowledge on technology applied to the world of Law in its various facets, with a practical approach and an empirical work methodology based on the use and analysis of the tools provided by the market to facilitate the exercise of the legal professions, as well as the creation or development of own tools.Contact info:- Web: https://www.uvlegaltechlab.es/- E-mail: uvlegaltechlab@uv.esThe objectives pursued by the Laboratory are the following:- Promote the study of Legal Tech in the university environment.- Facilitate the acquisition of digital skills by the students of the Faculty of Dret to diversify their employability options.- Set up a framework for collaboration with legal and economic players, both at the institutional and business levels, for the creation of new LegalTech tools, in their different facets (design and development of expert systems, document automation tools, machine learning, etc.).- Serve as a catalyst for the progress of Legal technology in the Spanish legal landscape.- Create a forum for academic and scientific discussion on the challenges posed by technological development from a legal and ethical point of view.
