For the past 18 years I have been creating artwork, both integrated and stand alone for cities, states and transportation authorities around the United States. My philosophy for Public Art is; make something of value for the community. The approach is one of listening to the needs of the site and its people, working with engineers and design team members, and solving the artistic problems in a creative and sensitive manner. I have solid experience in public art as well as strong background in kinetics. In 2009 I completed a large scale kinetic sculpture 25' x 50'x 50' in the median of a highway as a gateway project for the City of Longmont. This project has 49 individual kinetic elements. Currently I am developing the X-Fan, a multi purpose kinetic work that has many applications.
