The Food Tech Research and Incubation Centre (FTRIC) is a new state-of-the-art centre where innovations, knowledge and skills are transformed into viable enterprises. The centre is housed with research and analytical facilities. It targets youths, particularly women, young graduates, business professionals and young entrepreneurs with innovative science and technology ideas that have commercial potential. Also, the centre will be providing industrial specialised and curated skill development courses to sharpen the skillsets of young food science graduates and postgraduates.
