Milaan is a non-profit, social development organization, which envisions an inclusive and equal world, where every girl has the knowledge, skills and social environment to pursue her dreams and explore her full potential.We believe in the power of girls to be leaders; driving intergenerational and systemic change, especially in economically and socially challenged communities, transforming their communities into inclusive places of opportunity and equality. Over the last 10 years, Milaan has worked with more than 18,000 children and advocated for safer and more inclusive spaces for them at various state and national platforms. Milaan currently works with over 2,280 adolescent girls led by 114 Girl Icons in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
