The mission is to promote functional and safe food production through solid principles of natural farming like organic/biological farming, community farming, urban farming, etc. The focus is on R&D with multifaceted approach to generate the IPRs, to design and develop safer innovative products for use in organic crop production, for better human health and society's well being. planned objectives of the BRICS are as follows1.to undertake research and development on either food supplements, health care products, agrochemical products including bio-pesticides, bio-pharmaceuticals and green chemicals, biotechnology products from animal, microbial, plant sources, vegetable and herb extracts, agricultural products including poultry feed or cattle feed.2. To carry on the business of either developing, manufacturing, processing, formulating, importing, exporting, undertaking analytical and research work, contract research, organic, biological or any other formulations.3.To either undertake, promote, assist or engage in all kinds of research and set up research and development facilities and deal in all technologies and carry out process development, process improvement, to work as consultants, process consultants, conduct technical audit, conceptualize, design, evaluate and implement project in natural and applied sciences including in areas of biotechnology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, fermentation technology, bio-engineering, bioinformatics, Nanotechnology or to carry out the software development in all the above related fields.4.to carry out research, training and promotion in urban farming, organic farming, sustainable farming towards production of safe and functional food.
