Red Publication had humble beginnings as an online activist blog and arts calendar. Originally created as an outlet for ideas and sometimes rage after the September 11 attacks in 2001 — before social media gave us an outlet for dialogue. This community has since developed into an informed and active readership of 650k readers online monthly. 75% are in Texas, and 60% of those Texans are found on the coast between Galveston, Houston and Conroe. Red Pub Magazine (in print) is the Third Coast's premiere quarterly arts and culture magazine committed to sparking creativity. We choose to celebrate artists who are inspiring cultural evolution while celebrating the vibrant arts, culture we enjoy right here in Texas and around and about the greater Southern Coastline.Both online and in print, we showcase exceptional design, advertising, illustration, photography, and typography. Since 2001 Red Pub dot com has been recognized for all of our effort to emphasize the multi-cultural wealth we all enjoy in this international home base of Greater Houston. Our creative team has developed many successful series of events over these past two decades which have brought commerce and creatives together, in pursuit of a balanced, more cohesive community spirit. Our editorial staff continues to hold space for progressive ideas through several contemporary publications that have developed under the Red Pub banner. Our family of publications include REDPUBTHEATRE.COM, REDPUBART.COM, and RPMZINE.COM (music) which featuring local productions, shows and events, artists, troupes and movements and the reverberations which move through the local scene and expand past the beltway.
