KOSHA is founded to address the current issues faced by the handloom industry, where the number of handlooms are dwindling at a fast pace and the highly skilled weavers are pursuing other unskilled/semiskilled jobs such as construction work, driving autos etc,.Brand KOSHA is responsible for empowering these community of weavers and artisans in becoming soft expressive, which is being achieved by providing access to market, design support, technology and better price realisation.In the market KOSHA provides contemporary designs made using handloom fabrics sourced from traditional weaving clusters across India. Currently we are sourcing from Proddatur(AP), Dharmavaram(AP), Godda(Jharkhand), Banaras(UP) clusters.We wish to build a community of over 300 outlets and transform 500 weaver families by 2020. Our vision is to make KOSHA the largest platform for handlooms fabrics/ handmade products by 2025.
