Since 2005, we at AmeriCare Home Care Agency continue to fulfill our mission to refer the most qualified and professional caregivers who have a calling for helping others. We pride ourselves in referring experienced, skilled, dependable, and compassionate caregivers. Our referred caregivers make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families. Many of them have had personal experience with a loved one who needed care and know first hand what compassionate and competent help really means.Before adding a caregiver to our referral list, we go through an extensive vetting process. We initially meet with a caregiver face-to-face to further discuss their abilities and get to know them more personaly. We then request a criminal background and driving record check. We contact and verify their professional references, as well as verify their certifications.Our clients may choose their own caregiver. We work diligently to find the best-matched caregiver that can meet a client's specific needs. Clients can then meet with the caregiver face-to-face before they make a decision to select that caregiver as their care provider.Caregivers offer flexible scheduling. Whether our clients need care for one hour or 24 hours, a caregiver will be there to assist them. Our clients are not required to sign a long-term contract, and they decide the duration of the services needed. Caregivers offer flexible and personalized care plans. Our clients can work one-on-one with their caregiver to create a care plan just right for their needs. We do not set limitations on our referred caregivers. It is up to the client and the caregiver to establish the proper non-medical care plan.We offer consistency in caregivers. Having a different caregiver each week is difficult and frustrating. Once clients have chosen a caregiver, the agency will not remove them unless the client so chooses. If needed, we will gladly refer a new or substitute caregiver.
