The Virginia Foundation for Educational Leadership (VFEL) was founded in 1995 to link all education levels – preschool, elementary, middle, high school, and higher education – through a seamless system of leadership learning. The nonprofit organization addresses current research and best practices in leadership, examines and assimilates strategies that further school improvement, and seeks to improve articulation among school leaders from preschool through higher education.
