Throughout his life Stu has always wanted to create, from making comic books andhome movies with family as a youth to becoming a prolific artist today. The artwork Stu produces is distinguishable. In his oil paintings, he loves to combine thick solidlines with warm vivid colors to display a sense of playfulness, humor, and childlikeinnocence. This style can be seen in many of his works, which is drawn from thelinoleum-cut printmaking and graphic design he learned and developed during his artcollege years. Humor and playfulness are also evident in his computer graphic imagesand films.Stu graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) with a BFAdegree in Design with an emphasis on Visual Communications.
