Gen X (or Generation X) is the name given to the generation born between the mid-1960s and the early-1980s. Gen X follows the baby boom generation and precedes Generation Y or the millennial generation.This generation has literally built most of the businesses that propelled high growth economies and was the engine that gave shape to the corporate landscape as we know it.This generation has been there and done that. With the economic landscape changing, the challenges becoming far fewer and the urge to take on the next challenge, they have also become poised to become the single biggest driver of entrepreneurship. Contrary to popular perception, entrepreneurs in their 40s have been far more successful, vastly experienced with hands on strategic, operational and leadership experience.
