PFL's production facilities were commissioned in January, 2002 with a capacity to produce 5000MT of frozen vegetables per annum However keeping in view the ever increasing demand for PFL's frozen vegetables both in the domestic as well as export markets, the production capacity was doubled in the year 2006-07. PFL has invested around Rs. 25 Crores (U.S.$6.25 million) on its production facilities with a capacity to produce around 10,000MT of frozen vegetables/ annum and has frozen cold storage capacity of 5000MT. The Plant facilities include state of art technology for production of frozen vegetables meeting international standards & specifications with 2 No.'s IQF plants from Frigoscandia, Sweden, Vegetable Dicer from Urschel USA, Slicer from Technico Holland & Vegetable processing line from FMC, PUNE & Jwala Engg. Mumbai. The entire buildings of process hall, raw material store, packing hall & frozen cold stores are made of PUFF Insulated Pannels from WALCO Engg. & Refrigeration Eqpt. of Vilter Germany & Mycom Japan make supplied by Frick India Ltd. New Delhi.The company's frozen Vegetables includes Green Peas, French Beans, Carrots, Cauliflower, Diced Onion, Potatoes, American Sweet Corn, Baby Corn, Red & Green Capsicum etc and have been very well received both in the domestic as well as export markets. PFL is one of the major suppliers of frozen vegetables to the leading food processing industry in the country Viz Vista Foods Ltd. Mumbai (McDonald Group),AL-Kabeer Exports Pvt. Ltd. Innovative Foods Ltd.( Tata group), McCain Foods Pvt Ltd., Godrej Foods, Tasty Bytes Pune etc and to major Retail outlets of Aditya Birla group, Reliance Retails, Metro Cash & Carry & Spencer's etc throughout the Country besides a vast network of distributors in all most all major cities of India. PFL also exports around 1000 MT of frozen vegetables annually to Middle East, Saudi Arabia, U.K and U.S. markets.
