Set up in 2017 by Rita Corrêa Mendes, Maray has put an ethnic cosmopolitan spin on the "made in Portugal"​ trademark. Inspired by exotic countries with an "all things artisanal"​ atmosphere where colours and textures are everywhere, she found out the Portuguese shoe industry to be perfect when it came to the quality and know how she was looking for in order to produce her collections. Maray is invested in putting forward a daring reinterpretation of classic shoes through a bold composition of different colours, textures and materials. Formerly Marketing Director at L'Oréal Portugal, Rita Corrêa Mendes taps into her passion for fashion and make-up to design products that are all about fun, individuality and sense of humour.
