The Geographical Association (GA) is a subject association with the core charitable objective of furthering the study, learning and teaching of geography. We do this through a variety of activities:- Journals for an academic audience, secondary teachers and primary teachers- Publications for primary and secondary geography teaching- A large international Annual Conference and Exhibition- Training events for geography teachers- An extensive website full of teaching resources and advice- A lively members' magazine- Lobbying and advising Government about the importance of geography in the curriculum- A network of local Branches around the country- Project work to develop innovative teaching resourcesThe Geographical Association is a registered charity (number 1135148) and its core activities are financed by membership subscriptions.
