The Maine Primary Care Association is a nonprofit organization devoted to strengthening Maine's community health centers - and the 200,000 patients they serve annually - and to ensuring access to quality healthcare (primary care, dental care and behavioral health care) is available for all Maine people. Maine's community health centers include Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) located throughout the state.. MPCA provides health centers with a wide variety of technical assistance and training including quality improvement, health information technology, outreach and enrollment, emergency preparedness and strategic planning, in addition to leading statewide public policy and advocacy efforts.
