Graduate Research Assistant at USC Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) - Los Angeles, California, United States
The Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) is a research unit headed by Professor Manuel Pastor and situated within the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences. We conduct research and facilitate discussions on issues of environmental justice, regional inclusion, and social movement building. PERE's work is rooted in the new three R's: rigor, relevance, and reach. We conduct high-quality research relevant to public policy concerns and that reaches to those directly affected communities that most need to be engaged in the discussion. We also run the Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration (CSII) which combines data analysis, scholarship and civic engagement to support improved economic mobility for, enhanced civic participation by, and receiving society openness to immigrants.
