The 17,000 square foot building is the former Newport Station Elementary School and is located 30 minutes from Halifax at the gateway to the Annapolis Valley. The Station provides multiple leasing spaces and shared services for long term tenants, processing equipment, cold and dry storage, and a certified kitchen for starting and scaling food businesses. The Station Food Co. is a social enterprise located within the Station with a mission to increase the amount of healthy, local value added food processed and consumed right here in Nova Scotia, starting with our public schools!
