The Kabayanihan Foundation started out as a small group of friends brought together by a shared hope of seeing a better Philippines. Our informal weekly discussion group of professionals and businessmen slowly evolved into a focused group of well-meaning Filipinos and concerned citizens discussing political, economic, and social issues affecting the country. After a few more meetings, we decided to name the group as "Kabayanihan" to properly reflect our desire to make each and every Filipino part of the group, similar to the Bayanihan concept we all know. Thus, our Kabayanihan Foundation became a SEC-registered foundation that seeks to promote the greatness for the Filipino through cultural transformation. Officially registered on September 14, 2010, the Foundation is composed of ordinary Filipinos from various walks of life, bound by faith in God and love for country. Inspired by the national bestselling book (12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do To Help Our Country) of Alex Lacson, we thought of ways and means to consolidate every little effort to propagate a very simple message that each and every Filipino could be part of the solution to the problems facing our country today. We however humbly declare that our group is just but one of the many groups that will hopefully join forces to ignite a Cultural Revolution.
