Renata's Garden is a small business centered around the love of all things that grow. Founded by Renata Goossen in 2021, Renata's Garden, LLC, concentrates on spreading that love to customers through mobile plant bus pop-ups, educational workshops and community plant care guidance. The business idea stems from Renata's high school business open from 2012-2018, also named Renata's Garden. Marketed as a micro-greenhouse selling vegetables, herbs and ornamentals to community members each spring, the business focused on quality not quantity, unique plants and customer relationships.Closing her original business, Renata completed a bachelor of science degree in horticulture production at Kansas State University, worked for several horticultural businesses, and traveled abroad to discover the power of horticulture in the lives of others.While soaking in the luxury of Dutch greenhouses, French gardens and Luxembourgish wineries has no compare, Renata was drawn to return to the broad, sweeping prairies of Kansas and the culture of local communities. Aspiring to meld the refined techniques of European horticulture and the Kansan love of the land, Renata is relaunching Renata's Garden anew.Today, Renata is working toward realizing her vision to empower others with horticulture.
