Wattman, the pioneering company which introduced the concept of mall trains. From 2000 to 2005, the demand for the Mini Express constantly increased. From a mainly North American market, a significant international market was starting to take form. The company needed to expand. In 2005, Renaud Larouche and Pierre Parrot embarked on the journey and as new shareholders injected new capital. In 2007 the company moved to the modern facility it occupies in Granby, QC, Canada. Many companies tried to copy our successful train, and many folded, No one has ever succeeded to create a similar train in building quality and reliability. Not to be overlooked: Wattman is the only supplier with standard TUV certification (EN 13814:2004 - Fairground and Amusement Park Machinery and Structures – Safety) on all trains. Wattman now produces 3 train models which are all handcrafted at our facility located in Granby (QC), Canada. Currently, our engineering department in Canada is not only working on upgrading our trains but is also involved in product development of battery powered shuttle services and mid-size train operations. In the summer of 2017, it was decided to create one single sales office. This decision was motivated by Wattman's desire to improve the quality of our sales and aftersales activities. Our sales office is located in Almere, the Netherlands. The location is conveniently located in the heart of Europe near Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) and is well connected with the Rotterdam seaport. From this location, we coordinate all sales, have an in-house service team and an inventory of trains that guarantees fast and efficient delivery.
