The Louisiana House of Representatives is the lower body of the Louisiana State Legislature. The House consists of 105 members and meets at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge. Each member represents an average of 43,174 residents, as of the 2010 Census. Members serve four-year terms with a term limit of three terms (twelve years).
