The longest established hospital in the southeast Valley, Chandler Regional’s humble beginnings as a community hospital, which opened with only 40 beds, 25 employees and 91 volunteers, laid the foundation for the full-service acute-care hospital it has become. With 338 acute-care beds, more than 1,686 employees and 962 physicians representing all major specialties, Chandler Regional is a not-for-profit community hospital providing innovative and exceptional health care to East Valley residents. The hospital recently opened a new five-story tower with 96 patient beds, expanding emergency and trauma services, the surgical unit and intensive care offerings.
