Established to bring the technologies of Europe to the United States, the main focus is on pre-chlorinated pipe bursting, sliplining and Compression Fit HDPE pipe lining. - Pre-chlorinated pipe bursting: 2-inch through 16-inch water distribution replacement in residential neighborhoods- Compression Fit HDPE pipe lining: 16-inch through 78-inch water transmission and sewer force main replacementThe team is led by President Andy Mayer, who is a native of England and worked for British Gas at a time when they were first developing pipe bursting and CompressionFit. He was instrumental in the development and advancement of both methods. With millions of feet of static pipe bursting and CompressionFit experience, Murphy Pipelines has received numerous awards including 2019, 2018, 2015, 2014, 2005, 2003 Trenchless Project of the Year, CSX Rail Performance & Safety Award, APWA Environmental Project of the Year and Underground Construction Technology Association Most Valuable Professional (Andy Mayer).
