Swab First™ Pty Ltd is an environmental screening service with an analytical laboratory that specialises in the screening of commercial and residential property for the presence or absence of drug residues. Swab First™ is a simple and rapid "WIPE, TYPE and SEND' process. We train industry professionals, such as real estate agents and building inspectors, so they can collect samples quickly and efficiently and provide purchasers, investors and tenants confidence on the chemical provenance of a dwelling. There is growing community concern that domestic living spaces can become contaminated with harmful chemical residues from the use and manufacture of drugs. Not only is chemical contamination expensive to remediate, scientific research shows that people living in residential properties contaminated with drug residues can be exposed to these harmful chemicals even when they do not use drugs themselves. A way to protect the health of you and your family and that of your home is to live in residential properties that are free from residual drug contamination. Before you buy, sell, rent or lease – use the Swab First™ service. The Swab First™ team has over 65 years' experience in the fields of risk assessment, exposure science, public and environmental health, toxicology and occupational hygiene. The team is led by Swab First™ Director (Exposure Science) Dr Len Turczynowicz who has over 30 years experience in the evaluation of human health risks and has worked in the government health sector, for multinational consulting companies and continues research and teaching in the higher education sector.
