Our research group, BCN-AIM, aims to develop and demonstrate the next-generation of data science and artificial intelligence solutions for personalised medicine applications, in several fields such as cardiology, neurology, psychiatry and oncology.We are an international and multi-disciplinary team of 15 members and part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at the University of Barcelona.Several large-scale H2020 projects (euCanSHare, EarlyCause & EuCanImage) are coordinated by our lab director, Karim Lekadir. He is also WP leader of another H2020 project (LongITools).Karim Lekadir is also general co-chair for MICCAI2024. We are already looking forward to organising the 27th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention in Marrakesh, Morocco, Africa.
