Founded in 1884, Seattle Children's Home (SCH) is a private, not-for-profit organization that responds to the mental health needs of children and their families throughout Seattle, King County and Washington State. From humble beginnings as a home for orphaned children, SCH has blossomed into the only mental health facility of its kind in King County.At SCH, a full spectrum of care is offered. Services range from residential treatment with 24 hour nursing and psychiatric services to less intensive counseling visits.
