Norfolk Christian Schools offers a complete college preparatory program that is grounded in a distinctly Biblical worldview. Emphases on both rigor and depth of understanding provide an exceptional academic base while differentiated instruction allows students to excel at the pace and learning style most efficient for them. Our Lower Schools are pioneers of the revolutionary "Deeper Learning" methodology, a faith-based version of Expeditionary Learning which combines advanced problem-solving skills and civic responsibility with the Christ-centered purpose of caring for others. Upper School students are challenged both in and out of the classroom with rigorous courses and a wide selection of Honors and AP classes, as well as excellent co-curricular offerings in athletics and fine arts. A commitment to local and global service continues to be a hallmark of the school, as seen through its many community service relationships at home and abroad.In recent years, Norfolk Christian students have enjoyed acceptances to a variety of notable colleges and universities, including Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell, University of Virginia, University of California, Notre Dame, U.S. Naval Academy, the College of William & Mary, University of North Carolina, and a multitude of others.
