Bureau 8080 is an advice and project management company in the field of sustainability.We help cultural institutions developing policy and programs that lead to a sustainable change.We work for some of the biggest cultural institutions within the Netherlands, such as the National Opera and Ballet, Hermitage, and over more than thirty other theaters and museums.Besides our broad view on sustainability for cultural institutions we have developed a deep insight in waste management. On top of this we've developed several Zero Waste Expeditions. This has lead to a vast reduction of waste related transportation and a huge rise in waste separation with the goal of re-using resources.Within the waste sector, we have an expertise in project management on (European) law and regulations, European tenders, the market and a deep understanding of the possibilities. We work together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment and the municipalities of Amsterdam and Arnhem.Bureau 8080 was founded early 2017 by Remco Wagemakers and Jan Willem van Bokhorst. We are pragmatic entrepreneurs. We are convinced that we can make the biggest difference by combining a commercial approach with an idealistic view.Our economic, ideological and social motivation will help us to a more sustainable, livable environment.
