The Establishment is a renovated multi-use theatre located in The District of Rock Island, and is the home of ComedySportz (all ages) and the Late Night Studio Series (17+). Our theatre is available for rent 7 days a week and we host independent movie premieres/screenings, social and private events, city events, award ceremonies, fashion/cosmetology shows, fundraisers, trivia nights, professional stand up comedians, concerts, sketch comedy shows, and much more. Originally known as the Rocket Theater, built in the 1940's, the venue was used as a cinema, night club, and brew and view in its previous incarnations. In August of 2010, CSz Quad Cities, Ltd., became the new tenants and immediately began renovating the space with assistance from City of Rock Island, DARI, and Renaissance Rock Island.
