FreeFlow is a nonprofit applied research organization dedicated to establishing San Antonio, Texas as the center for international entrepreneurship in the United States. By creating research partnerships with corporations and institutions we are able to sponsor cap-exempt H-1B visas year-round for qualified candidates, extend the Optional Practical Training (OPT) period for foreign STEM graduates, and provide our members with immigration support, skills assessments, stipends, entrepreneurship resources, and access to jobs, apprenticeships, and internships. FreeFlow Research will create a networking tool to connect scientists, students, and entrepreneurs from around the country and the world. We will work with schools, universities, and other organizations to connect students and recent graduates with internship and apprenticeship opportunities. FreeFlow Research will also provide financial assistance through grants, pledged-back loans, and other resources to scientists, students, entrepreneurs, and other organizations and programs that advance our mission, strengthen our community, and create opportunities for our members. FreeFlow Research will provide services to technology and entrepreneurship accelerators and incubators so that they are able to serve a more diverse group of individuals. We further believe that by offering these services we will encourage these organizations to launch San Antonio-based programs.
